Our Founders - Child Safety House Calls

Dr. Joel Clingenpeel and Dr. James Schmidt have dedicated their careers to preventing and treating illness and injury in children. After completing medical school and pediatric residency, each completed a sub-specialty fellowship to earn board certification in pediatric emergency medicine. Their passion for child advocacy has led each to earn a master degree in public health. Both physicians are accomplished clinicians, educators, researchers, and child advocates. Each considers fatherhood his most treasured accomplishment.
